Tellus Zine: Cincinnati’s Youth-Led Creative Voice
Share Your Story. Showcase Your Art. Amplify Your Voice.
Tellus Zine is a youth-led digital and print publication powered by Kennedy Heights Arts Center. Launched in 2019, Tellus has served as a platform for teen artists, writers, and musicians across Greater Cincinnati to share their creativity and perspectives with the wider community.
Curated by an all-teen editorial board, Tellus Zine has published visual art, music, and writing from young creators ages 13–18, uplifting authentic youth voices and celebrating creative expression in all its forms. With multiple print issues released, Tellus has become a space where teens can be seen, heard, and taken seriously as artists.

For our fifth annual issue, Tellus encourages participants to explore the meaning of value to themselves.
Come and celebrate the first ever collaborative issue of Tellus Zine! This issue was inspired by the exhibition “Girlhood(It’s Complicated),” now on view at the Cincinnati Museum Center. To celebrate we will be hosting an evening of fun at Kennedy Heights Arts Center’s Lindner Annex. There will be arts and crafts like, collage, friendship bracelet and button making. The new “Barbie” will be playing and there will be lots of snacks to share! Please register at https://events.humanitix.com/tellus-zine-mini-launch-party. See you this Saturday!

About Us:
“Before this experience, I’d rarely ventured beyond my school and family community, but having the opportunity to meet other youth passionate about creativity pushed me out of my comfort zone and exposed me to a world I ended up loving.”
